I learned to fish as a young child when my father took me to farm ponds and the banks of the Fourche River. I, along with my brother, spent many hours of our childhood fishing and boating. Over thirteen years ago a friend introduced me to competative bass fishing. I have spent the last thirteen years fishing local club tournament and other small events throughout the state and region. I also fished a few of the national tournaments. During the 2006-2009 seasons I competed against the top female anglers from around the world on the Women's Bassmaster Tour.
